Jakarta, 27 October 2016 - As a form of concern for others, on 27 October 2016, PT NAP Info Lintas Nusa took the initiative to help the victims of huge flood disaster in Garut, West Java which occured on 20 September 2016. This donation activity was attended by Mrs. Yuliana, Head of Sales PT NAP Info Lintas Nusa by channeling funds at the amount of Rp. 11,000,000 (eleven million rupiah) and visited the victims who have evacuated to a relief center. The fund was handed over to one of the coordinator in relief center which was located in Rusunrawa area, Jl. Pramuka no. 66, Garut, West Java.
A heavy rain which fell since mid September 2016 in a high intensity causes the water overflow of Cimanuk river which this was one of the cause. This disaster damaged hundreds of homes and immerse numbers of casualties. Hundreds of other residents were successfully evacuated to a nearby relief center.
Garut is currently in its stage of recovery, but the regent is still looking forward for funds to run the recovery phase since the amount of total losses has reached Rp. 20 billion.
"We feel a deep empathy to flash flood’s victim which afflicts most of people in Garut. Hopefully this financial contribution will really help the government to run the ongoing recovery process”, said Mrs. Yuliana, Head of Sales of PT. NAP Info Lintas Nusa.
